We are so glad that you have taken the time to visit this website and learn more about our church. We know that your first visit to any church comes with lots of questions, so we have tried to answer some of them here. What to expect each Sunday . . .

Sunday Morning Worship

Rolling Hills offers worship services every Sunday morning at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m at the Carmike Cinemas Thoroughbred Theaters, just off I-65 in Cool Springs. You can get directions by filling in your address on the left sidebar of this web page.

Before the service:

As you enter the lobby of the theatre, you will be greeted by one of our members at the door. They will be able to answer any questions you might have, and they will also direct you to the theatre for worship. On your way to the theatre, you will be able to pick up a cup of coffee, get more information about the church, and meet other people in the lobby.

Childcare . . .

At Rolling Hills, we LOVE kids! That's why we've made it a priority to provide high quality, high energy, and high FUN programming and events for children! Each Sunday, our set-up team transforms seven theatres into a safe environment for preschool and children’s classes with carpets, mats, cribs, tables, toys, lights and resources. Committed teachers come prepared to help kids, ages Birth through 5th Grade, experience God’s love through age-appropriate Bible studies, interactive games, and hands-on learning experiences that help them connect with Jesus. As you walk into the theatre lobby, you can't miss the welcome table for Children. Simply approach this table and a children's worker will greet you, register your child and walk both of you to your child’s classroom.

During the service . . .

Music . . .

At Rolling Hills Community Church, the musical aspect of worship ranges from upbeat and celebratory to subdued and contemplative. We love new songs and we love old songs. We want the music to emphasize the theme of the message, so there may be a mixture of praise and worship choruses and hymns. Above all of these things, however, the music must be in line with Scripture. We want to be able to sing great Theology, as well as hear it preached.

    Rolling Hills is about bringing glory to God by reaching people for Christ, and nurturing them in the faith through inspired worship, genuine community and passionate ministry that transforms lives in our neighborhoods and throughout the world. That means it's a place where you can use your gifts and talents to make a difference for Christ. It means it's a place where you'll know you belong. And, it means Rolling Hills is a place where you can build lasting friendships with people who genuinely care about you and your ever-developing walk with Christ.

  2. What do I wear on Sunday?

    Dress comfortably! Each Sunday, you will find some people dressed up, but the majority will wear clothes that are casual and comfortable.

  3. Where do I park?

    The theatre has plenty of parking places available on Sunday mornings. You will also find members of our parking team in the parking lot each Sunday to help direct you if you have questions or if you have any special needs.
