The Church Has Left the Building

On Sunday, May 26, we have a unique opportunity to "be the church" in the community. In place of our normal Sunday morning worship experience, we will go out into the community and be the hands and feet of Christ as we serve our neighbors. Regardless of your age, ability, or family status, there is something for you to do that day! We will meet at the WareHouse at 9:30am,...

5 Ways to Be Present

As we get ready to start our new sermon series Be Present, we wanted to take a few moments and share some ways that you can be present this season.

1. Warm Their Hearts: Now through December 16, we are collecting new, dark-colored clothing items: warm socks, waterproof gloves, sweat suits, long underwear, warm pajamas, hats, and scarves for orphans in...

The Wrapping Station Begins Soon!

With the Christmas season rapidly approaching, that means that something else is on its way as well: Our Christmas wrapping station! This is a chance we have to bless our community during the season. Christmas time is a very stressful and busy time of year for so many people. Schedules are packed, nerves are frayed, and many are just looking...

Feed My Starving Children Recap

It was a great time in the Gallery on Saturday. People were laughing, having fun, enjoying each other’s company. Classic rock songs were playing loudly over the PA system providing a great, upbeat mood to the room. The energy in the building was running high from the second you walked in the...

Front Lines of Ministry

By Jeff Simmons

A few weeks ago I had the honor of traveling with a group of U.S. missionaries to Beirut, Lebanon to help train pastors from from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq. This was my first time to this special place in the world and honestly, I was a little uneasy about the trip.

Everyone Has a Story

Meeting pastors and leaders from these Middle Eastern countries was deeply rich and meaningful. These are the pastors and leaders on the front...

Rediscovering the True Spirit of Christmas

By Jeff Goins (Author, blogger, idea-guy and friend of Rolling Hills)

For years, I never understood Christmas. Admittedly, I was a bit of a Scrooge. It just seemed like the whole thing was a farce.

Every made-for-TV movie I watched between Thanksgiving and New Year’s preached the same gospel: “It’s not about presents.” But then, every Christmas morning, I was inundated with presents. It didn’t...

Just Love - Jason Cruise

Jason is a dad, a sportsman and a person who fully embraces the idea of missional living. Following his recent mission trip to Moldova with our group from Rolling Hills, Jason used his sphere of influence to help support our efforts to put an end to human trafficking in this country. His story is an inspiration to all of us as he demonstrates how simply we could all Just Love within our own circles.

Moldova Report: Final Hours at Internat II

Today was our last day at Internat II.  It was very emotional to say goodbye to our Moldavian friends! I know there was a bittersweet ache in the hearts of the children and team members as we hugged, cried, prayed together, then loaded into the van.

It has been very beautiful and inspiring to be a part of what God is doing in the country of Moldova! Relationships are being made, needs are being met (spiritual and physical), and leaders are being brought...

Moldova Report: Oh Happy Day!

It is the sixth day!  The kids at Internat 2  bring us energy more and more everyday.  Their smiles are contagious!  One smile that I have attached to belongs to a boy named Timotei.  My heart melts when he sits in my lap and wraps my arms around himself tightly.  There is NOTHING more meaningful than the touch of a loving child holding you close.  Our new camp anthem is, "Oh Happy Day!"  I feel like today was certainly a happy day for everyone....
