Flood Relief: We've Just Begun
Over the past 2 weeks, Rolling Hills has been able to work and spend significant time in over 35 different homes doing flood relief. As a church we have mobilized over 325 volunteers, which have contributed 2500 hours to flood relief here in our community, in addition to the countless donations and supplies you have given. Over the next several days we will be assessing the long-term, ongoing needs of the many homeowners and neighbors we have been working with and will continue to ask for your help as we map out the next level of service to our community. Please continue checking the Rolling Hills blog and website for the most up to date info.
In the meantime if you are interested in volunteering please meet at the WareHouse Saturday at 8am for your assignments. Also, we are still accepting donations, However, due to the change in needs in our community, we are encouraging those donations be in the form of gift cards to Kroger, Wal-Mart, Lowes or Home Depot. Gift cards can be dropped off at the church office anytime during business hours.
Thank you so much for your support during this critical time. You truly are the hands and feet of christ in our community.
In Christ,
Jason Hale, Young Adult/Missions Minister
