God Provides when we Trust Him
Saturday night my wife and I were looking at our bank account online. We had only $500 in our account, and knew that on Monday there was a withdrawal to be taken out for $470 for part of our mortgage payment. Our first response was, "No spending any money all week until we get paid on Friday." I then asked, "what about our weekly tithe?" This question went unanswered because we both knew we needed to trust in the Lord and give the 10% he wanted us to give. Simple math says our 10% plus the $470 for mortgage is more than what money we had available. I went ahead and wrote out the check for tithe, but on the way to church the next morning I realized I had forgotten it at home. No problem, we can mail it when we get home. Monday when my wife got home from work she checked the mail and in it was a rebate check for insurance we had cancelled about a month ago, that we had long since forgotten about. The message here is simple; put your trust in the Lord and He will provide. What an amazing God we have!

"We are in a very similar situation. We are behind on many bills right now, including our mortgage. We are tithing faithfully, but it gets harder and harder knowing how many bills we could pay off with that amount. Hearing stories like this about how God is faithful in these situations is encouraging. We have yet to see any change in our circumstances, but we are hopeful that God in His timing will pull us out of this."
"I was at work one day and one of my co-workers came into my room. I asked her how she was only to find out after I looked at her she was suffering from a tooth ache. I told her she must get that checked even if she doesn't have insurance and she responded that she had a appt at a local dentist in Spring Hill. When she returned she came back to my room to tell me the dentist told her she has a severe abscess and it would cost $227 to extract it. My friend said she only had $150 until pay day which was 4 days away. The dentist replied he was sorry but he could not do it for less. He then told her this was very serious and she should make another appt on payday to get it extracted and gave her an antibiotic prescription. At the front desk they made her pay $86 towards the $227 for the x-rays and the exam. As she was telling me all this GOD spoke to me pay it forward! I went home early that day and got my check book and went right to the dentist office. I went to the front desk and said what I wanted to do that she was short $77 to have her tooth extracted. They knew who she was and both girls and the dentist were moved to tears by this. I asked them to please call her and get her in asap. I also explained that if she could not pay the 64.00 balance to please call me and I will come right back and pay it as well.As I was leaving the office my friend was coming in and she started to weep as she gave me a big hug.I told her I would stay with her but she said she would be fine and I prayed for her and left. The next day I was just going to check with the office to make sure she was able to pay the 64.00 balance but my friend came running into my arms to tell me what happened at the office before they extracted her tooth.A knock came at the room she was in and it was the front desk girl and she handed them a envelope with 64.00 in it.They including the dentist were sobbing out loud.Apparently when I was in the office there was a lady sitting in the waiting room and I never saw her.She explained to the receptionist that she was so moved by my actions that she wanted to pay my friends 64.00 balance.I was so in awe over how awesome our God is that I felt like I was floating on the clouds! My friend proceeded to tell me that the 150.00 she had was to pay her electric bill the next day or they threatened to cut it off! WOW she was then able to pay that bill in full and felt much relief from her tooth.OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD! HE GOT IT!That night my husband and I went to eat @ Olive Garden and after we were finished eating our waiter came to our table and told us one of my students family saw us dinning there and they paid our bill for us as appreciation for taking such good care of there child."
