For me, this was one of my best Easters ever! Participating with you all in “40 Days of Prayer and Fasting” really helped till my heart and make it fertile soil. “The Way of the Cross” on Good Friday focused my mind on the cross and the price paid for my sins. Eggstravaganza on Saturday provided so much joy with my precious family as well as my incredibly special church family.  Then, Easter Sunday morning at Rolling Hills was absolutely God-ordained! I worshipped, celebrated and feasted on His goodness and the overwhelming redemption we have in Christ! Then I watched in amazement as five believers were baptized! Praise be to our great God!

Now what? I mean, what do we do now that we have all shared this incredible Easter experience together? The calling and the challenge now is to live like “Easter” people year round! May the resurrection not simply arise in us one day a year, but may His love spring to life each and every day! As Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” May the love of God fill us up each day and may His grace slosh out of us onto every one in our path!  May our lives be forever and may they be new for He is alive!

If you are new to Rolling Hills, this is a great time to get involved! God initiated this relationship with us through His Son at Easter, now it’s our turn to take steps toward strengthening this connection with Him. I encourage you to make Sunday morning worship a priority. In addition, check out Starting Point this week as a great way to join a Community Group and continue to grow.  Pray about a mission opportunity this summer. Begin to invest in the life of God’s church, and watch God take the seed He planted in us at Easter and grow it to fruition in your life!

Blessings on you as we endeavor now to live out the Easter celebration!
