Hope Rising: Our Response in Times of Trouble
There are many times in our lives when we find ourselves in trouble. Whether from our own mistakes (even sometimes blatant disobedience) or from something that happened to us of which we had no control. As we dig into chapters 7-12 of the book of Isaiah, the nation of Judah found themselves in one of those times – a time of big trouble! The nation was facing war and the odds seemed overwhelming. How would the nation respond? Would they trust God and look to Him for hope or would they try to fix the situation themselves. In all our lives, we face the same question when it comes to trouble. I encourage you to come this Sunday Morning and find out what happened to God’s people back in Isaiah and let’s discover how God wants us to respond when we face times of trouble today. When it comes to God, regardless of what you are going through, always remember “Hope Rising.” Our God will never give up on us, and He always has an incredible, redemptive, plan for our lives! Come Sunday Morning to worship, to mature, and to affirm your faith in the One who loves you!
