The New Testament character Zacchaues [the height challenged tax collector] had an encounter with Jesus. Everything about his life was wrong but Christ came to find lost sinners and make things right. The heart of scripture is about how very wrong the world is because of sin. Nothing about it resembles the perfection God originally created. Sinful people being saved by grace and reconciled to God is all about the restoration of God's favor...making wrong things right. The Door of Reconciliation isn't one we enter into lightly because once we're reconciled in our relationship to God we are charged with a ministry of reconcilition among God's creation. We learned a lot from Jesus' encounter with  Zacchaeus...a lot about the kingdom of God, the nature of Christ, and the believer's response to Him!
