The Real Reason We Celebrate Christmas

We sing songs about it every year, but through the shopping, the parties, the wrapping paper, the cards and more, sometimes the real meaning gets lost. Think about it… “Christ”mas. Unto you a child is born. Jesus Christ.
Christmas is clearly about celebrating the birth of God’s own Son. This is an event so powerful that it split history in two - BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini - in the year of our Lord). Everything in the world was impacted with the coming of Jesus Christ.
Because of this, Jesus Christ is the greatest gift we could ever hope to receive. He meets our deepest needs and extends grace to those who will receive Him.
This Christmas, our prayer is that we will all “Be Present” in the season, in our families, in our neighborhoods and in our world. If you’ve found your way to this blog and don’t already have plans to worship and celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas Eve, we ask that you join us at 4pm or 6pm as we come together for an amazing birthday celebration!
God bless you and your family this Christmas.
