We have had an initial team in Cullman since Friday and they have been busily at work assisting families and tracking down additional needs. We have been communicating with leaders in other parts of Alabama as well. Here are four ways to participate in the coming week.

1. Join a team to work in the Birmingham and Cullman areas. Team members must be 18 years of age and should be prepared for potential difficult accommodations. Flexibility is essential.

The first team will be departing on Tuesday morning (May 3) and will return on Thursday afternoon (May 5). Contact Jason Hale by Monday noon for more information and to participate.  

The second team will be sent out on Friday afternoon (May 6) and return on Sunday afternoon (May 8). Contact Jason Hale by Wednesday noon for more information and to participate.

2.  Bring supplies to The WareHouse to send with our teams departing Tuesday and Friday.
Generators-- pressing need (an idea is to have Small Groups go in together to buy a generator or chainsaw)
Chainsaws-- pressing need
Heavy work gloves
Bleach
Clorox wipes
Baby diapers
Baby food

3. Give blood during our American Red Cross Blood Drive this Thursday (May 5) at The WareHouse from 3 - 7 pm. Go here to sign up for an appointment.

4. Keep praying for those who were personally impacted and for those assisting with recovery efforts.
