FIGHT! is raw, meaningful, and authentic.  It is for seasoned believers, struggling believers, new believers, on-the-fence believers, and non-believers.  It is for men.

My Rolling Hills friends with sticks, lend me your ears.  We have thrown down the gauntlet and challenged not one, not two, but three churches to test their metal against ours on the field of honor known as Temple Hills Country Club.

In the year of our Lord, 2012, on the 21st day of the month of May, we will assemble at high noon and do battle for the honor of Rolling Hills and for the benefit of JMI against a band of pretenders to the throne from Brentwood Baptist, Fellowship Bible and Thompson Station Baptist Churches.  These brazen hooligans encompass our position to the north and south and play for the glory of The Shalom Foundation.

Not since David slew Goliath on the plains of Elah has such an epic battle ensued.  If it's a Scramble they want, it's a Scramble they will get.  We shall drive them far from our shores! We shall chip away at their defenses.  Of a truth, we shall putt them in their place!  And when the dust has settled beneath our electric chariots, we shall put away our irons and make merry around a banquet table.  There, the finest warriors among us shall enjoy the spoils of war as we bestow awards upon them for heroic exploits such as closest to the pin, longest drive and flight victors.

If you would join us in our quest to raise a king's ransom for the plight of orphans, collect tribute in the amount of 464 shekels each ($125).  Next, gather yourselves in teams of four, two from Rolling Hills and two from hither and yon.  Finally, submit your teams for registration by going to www.justiceandmercy.org and clicking on the scrolling "Benefit Scramble Tournament" proclamation.  You shall be prompted from thence as to how to register your team and submit your bounty.

Now, for those of you from corporate nobility, we would beseech you to become hole sponsors for 3,710 shekels ($1,000).  For this kingly sum, you may enter your team of golfing warriors and be granted special promotional privileges to bring honor to your clan.

What we do together on May 21st will echo in eternity!  Whether you are knight or fair maiden, if you can swing a club, we entreat you to cast your lot with us as we vanquish our foes, belittle him severely, and drink deeply from the chalice of sweet victory!
