What makes Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills?
Our Vision
Rolling Hills Community Church ... a people of God reaching out, growing up, and giving all.
Our Mission
Rolling Hills Community Church exists to bring glory to God by reaching people for Christ and nurturing them in the faith through inspired worship, genuine community and passionate ministry that transforms lives in our neighborhoods and throughout the world.
Our Core Values
- Love ... We will love the Lord our God, first and foremost, and then love everyone around us with the love of Jesus Christ. (John 13:34–35; Matthew 22:37–40)
- Reach ... We are called to reach as many people as possible in Nashville and throughout the world for Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8)
- Minister ... Every person through Christ is a minister and essential to this community of believers. (Ephesians 4:11–13; Philippians 1:27)
- Grow ... We believe this church, as a whole, and each individual member of this body is created to grow spiritually through the filling of the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 2:1–3)
- Joy ... Church is designed to be enjoyable. Joy will permeate everything we do. (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)
- Change ... The Message stays the same, but our methods must constantly change in order to effectively impact our world for Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 9:22–23)
- Excellence ... Our pursuit is to always bring glory to God by doing everything He has called us and equipped us to do with excellence. (Colossians 1:28–29; Colossians 3:23)
- Prayer ... Prayer undergirds everything we do. (James 5:16)
Connecting and Serving
Small Groups meet all over town sometime between Sunday and Thursday each week. This is the primary way to connect to other people here at Rolling Hills. Jump in! Whether you are single, newly married, or have been around for a while, we have a place for you. And if childcare is an issue for you, don't worry. We'll help with that.
The Rolling Hills Kids' Ministry offers exciting Sunday morning Bible studies for kids from birth through 5th grade, as well as FORT@1810, a Wednesday night program for kids in grades K–5, which enhances kids' understanding of Scripture and missions, as well as a fun time of recreation and music!
Our Student Ministry offers weekly small groups for middle school and high school students (grades 6–12), as well as DOCK@1810, a Wednesday night program designed to enrich our students' walk with God and relationships with one another.
College Students and Young Adults ... Rolling Hills is a great place for you, too. With our College Ministry Bible Studies and leadership development training and QuarterLife ministry designed to meet the needs of young professionals in their 20s and early 30s, you will find ways to connect to God and others here at RHCC.
All Adults ... We encourage all people who call Rolling Hills "home" to discover their spiritual gifts, focus their life passions, and use them both for God's glory through service on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. We have dedicated church staff who help you do this! Contact Laura at 615–861–3663 to get plugged in.

Sunday Mornings
Walking through the doors of a church can be daunting. Perhaps we can answer some of your questions before you come. By the way, come as you are! Rolling Hills is a comfortable environment to encounter God and His people in a relevant, engaging way.
Where do we meet?
Rolling Hills offers worship services every Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. at The WareHouse, a modern, comfortable facility just south of historic downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Located conveniently at 1810 Columbia Ave., Rolling Hills' home, The WareHouse, is a place for you to connect, belong, and become. Ample parking and entrances are available to make your connection point as easy as possible.
What happens before the service?
As you enter The WareHouse, you will be greeted by one of our Sunday morning volunteers. They will be able to answer any questions you might have, and they will also direct you to the Auditorium, where we worship, the Backstage, where our students meet, or the Backyard, Rolling Hills' kids' ministry's home. On your way to worship, you will be able to pick up a cup of coffee, get more information about the church, and meet other people hanging out and visiting in the Gallery.
What about children and teenagers?
At Rolling Hills, we LOVE kids! That's why we've made it a priority to provide high quality, high energy, and high FUN programming and events for children and students! Committed teachers come prepared to help kids, from birth through middle school, experience God's love through age–appropriate Bible studies, interactive activities, and hands–on learning experiences that help them connect with Jesus.
As you walk into The WareHouse, you will easily see check–in areas for your kids and signs directing you to our student area. Simply approach the area you need; our volunteers will greet you, register your child and walk both of you to your child's classroom. High school students serve in a variety of areas on Sunday mornings and worship with their family and friends during the other service we offer. These students meet throughout the week in homes for their own small group study and community experiences.
Kids Programming: Birth through Fourth Grades during both hours
5th & 6th Grade Programming (Flyte): 9:30 @ Backyard
Student Programming: 7- 12th Grades @ 11 am Backstage
What are services like?
Rolling Hills worship services are designed around a central theme each day, and everything we do points back to that main idea. Worship is our opportunity to respond to God through music, scripture, prayer, teaching. We hope that you will feel free to express yourself through this time and worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Our Sunday morning teaching series is the product of months and even years of planning and prayer. Check out this Blog from April, 2010 that outlines our process.
The music will range from classical instrumentation to modern rock. The bands do original music from writers within RHCC as well as others from around the world. Arrangements tend to be fresh, artistic, and impassioned, from modern music, to ancient hymns. It is not our intention for us to have another "churchy" experience, we want to express and experience the true presence of God together when we meet. The worship time at RHCC is only the beginning of our worship. We want to bring Him more than a song.
